The Bugatti Chiron is not just an ordinary exotic car from one of the popular automakers known for churning out expensive and wild vehicles, it has been tagged ‘the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and and most exclusive production super sports car’. In fact, Chris Harris from popular auto magazine TopGear called it ‘the big bad wolf that demolishes road surfaces’.
However, this road and auto giant has not proved immune to the shortcomings other cars are challenged with which explains the recalling of 47 of its hypercar model. The French automaker recently informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that a number of the Chirons have faulty welds in the front seat recliner brackets.
All the affected owners have been notified by the automaker and they will transport each Chiron via enclosed trucks to the most convenient Bugatti dealerships for inspections. If inspections reveal a faulty weld, Bugatti will replace the entire seating assembly. On the positive side however, users have been awaiting the top speed capacity of the Bugatti Chiron to be revealed which will be eventually in 2018. Given the track record of this car model, it can be safely concluded that the speed will marvel the autoworld and despite its aforementioned flaw and recall, the road is still far from over for the Chiron.
