Cars45, Nigeria’s foremost Car buying and auctioning platform for Nigerian used cars, has entered a car trade-in deal with Kia Motors. This Partnership was borne out of a necessity to ensure that any pre-owned car can be traded-in at Kia’s Akin Adesola office in Victoria Island Lagos to Cars45 for a new Kia, a fairly used Kia or other cars owned by Cars45.

This relationship is intended to provide Nigerians with a much more credible environment to trade-in their cars with ease while ensuring that they get the best value for their money.

Speaking on the initiative, The CEO, Cars45, Etop Ikpe said: “Our business is beyond providing a platform for Nigerians to sell their cars. The desire to meet the customers’ expectations is what is paramount for us at cars45. The used Car Market is growing and we have seen a lot of requests from Kia owners for an opportunity to swap their old Kia for new ones”. This plan we believe further establishes Cars45´s commitment to Nigerians by ensuring that there are cars for the average Nigerian whenever he or she wants one.

Cars45 recently flagged off a new center in Kia’s Akin Adesola office where any pre-owned car can be driven to so it can be traded-in for a brand new or previously owned KIA. “We have witnessed strong demand for our used Kia cars and customers have over the years asked for a trade-in option for a new model. The market size of pre-owned cars has grown significantly and our partnership with Cars45 is aimed at offering a well organised used car trade-ins program with complete peace-of-mind and hassle-free ownership experience to our customers. The country’s used car market has a huge growth potential and we expect ‘Kia Certified Used Car’ business to grow in the foreseeable future and contribute to the brand’s growth in Nigeria. Our partnership with a leading online used car sales portal, will not only roll out a used certified car program but also offer customers more choices, enabling them to create a bespoke buying process that suits their needs” said Olu Tikolo, Vice President, Kia Motors Nigeria.

Also speaking, Head of Marketing, Cars45, Abiodun Onifade said: “According to our data and feedback from our customers, we have seen that there is an increased desire and demand for brand new Kia cars. Hence the rationale for this laudable Initiative. We are confident this partnership will further increase customer experience and love for both the Cars45 and the Kia brand.
