Partly funding the proceeds of this project is Sukuk bond, a body solely interested in the transformation of the Nation.
A recall by newsmen dated back to 2017, when the Federal Government raised N100 billion from Sukuk to fund 25 selected road projects across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
The director further explained that the Federal Government had begun financing road projects that amounts to N1.8 Trillion, the sukuk is not in any way involved in this, owing to the fact that they had also initiated a funding project worth N1 Trillion.
“If you add up N1.8 trillion costs of other projects outside Sukuk, it will come up to N2.8 trillion projects being undertaken by the ministry” he said.
He also added that a monitoring committee team had been set up, their role and goal is to ensure pure dedication and discipline amongst contractors and workers to ensure distinctive and positive result on federal roads all across the nation.
